Profiles

Pre-configured profiles help you setup your PFx Brick quickly and conveniently. These profiles can be used as-is or can be used as starting point to build and customize your own profile. A profile contains PFx Brick settings, sound files, and event/action definitions wrapped up into one convenient container file. Share profiles with your friends, keep your own library of profiles for different creations, or simply explore all of the awesome features you can configure on your PFx Brick!

Steam Locomotive

A steam locomotive profile representative of a large steam locomotive. Customize this profile by adding/changing auxiliary sounds such as whistles, bells, and other sounds from our sound library.

Diesel locomotive - EMD 710 Prime Mover

A diesel locomotive profile suitable for locomotives with the EMD 710 prime mover. Examples include North American GP60, SD70, F59, British Rail Class 66, 67, Irish Class 201, RENFE Class 334, Australian DL class, NSW 82 class, and many others. Customize this profile by adding/changing auxiliary sounds such as horns, bells, and other sounds from our sound library.

Diesel locomotive - GEVO Prime Mover

A diesel locomotive profile suitable for locomotives based on the GE GEVO prime mover. Examples include North American ES44AC/DC, Chinese ES59ACi, Australian ES44DCi, and many others. Customize this profile by adding/changing auxiliary sounds such as horns, bells, and other sounds from our sound library.

10277 - Crocodile Locomotive

A specially mastered sound profile for the beautiful Lego 10277 Crocodile locomotive released Jul 1, 2020. All sounds are specific to the actual Swiss Ce 6/8 locomotive prototype and include dynamic engine sounds as well as many other special sound effects you can activate on command. Customize this profile by adding/changing auxiliary sounds such as horns, bells, and other sounds from our sound library.

10254 - 2016 Holiday Train

A special profile to accompany our Holiday Train conversion kit. It is preconfigured with steam train sound effects as well as special holiday themed sounds such as sleigh bells and Santa's "Ho Ho Ho!" The profile also has blinking light effects for the side mounted lights on the Tender and Caboose wagons.

21303 Wall-E

A pre-configured profile available for joystick controlled WALL-E models with 2x motors on channel 4. This profile also includes various lighting and sound effects triggered by the joystick remote on channels 1-3.

How to Install a Profile

Choose "Import Configuration..." from the File menu

Select the desired profile bundle from your computer's file system (e.g. in the Downloads folder)

If you see a warning message after selecting the profile, you can safely ignore it. This message is simply notifying you that it found a difference in version number for the file format.

Click the "Save Changes" button to load the contents of the profile on to the PFx Brick.
