New Products Available!
After years of intensive design, engineering, testing and manufacturing, we're so happy to announce that our new "Fx 9V" product system is now available! Fx 9V makes the combination of LEGO bricks and electrical accessories easy and flexible. Although the immediate benefits of Fx 9V will be most enjoyed by users of Fx Track, it is designed to be a general purpose system of electrical accessories for all LEGO builders! Also, Fx 9V was designed to be backwards compatible with existing LEGO brand 9V electrical accessories. Therefore, the entire back catalogue of LEGO 9V accessory products is now part of your "toolbox" for building!
For Fx Track users, the Fx 9V system immediately satisfies two key functions:
- Power TO the Track - With the 9100 track power connector cable and the 9005 speed controller, Fx Track users can now reliably deliver power to the track and control their trains and motors with much more power and fidelity than ever before.
- Power FROM the Track - With the 9700 metal wheel sets and 9480 Power Functions adapter cable; existing LEGO trains can remove their bulky battery boxes and IR/Bluetooth controllers for direct connection of the motors to the track. The freedom to operate trains immediately, reliably, and indefinitely is finally here!
Although this initial launch of Fx 9V products includes a rich variety of building blocks to get started, we're not done yet. We are working very hard to finish our much anticipated 9600 train motor bogie and hopefully have it ready for this year's holiday season. Also, we're going to expand our electrical accessory system based on the modular "magnetic docking" power brick form factor used by the 9005 speed controller. Now, you can build awesome control panels, modular controllers, and creatively combine electrical functions with brick-built models.
New Track Inventory
Coordinating our manufacturing schedule for more than a dozen Fx Track products has been quite a challenge. Furthermore, distribution to all regions across the globe is a never ending juggling act. In any case, we are really happy to announce that new inventories of high-demand products such as the S32 straight tracks, P40 switches, and other products are now available. The schedule of new product inventory can be summarized as follows:
- Starting Jun 3, 2026 : Hong Kong with availability to Australia, New Zealand, and Asia Pacific region
- Starting Jun 5-10 : Canada with availability to North America and rest of world
- Starting mid July : JB Spielwaren to the European Union
Please note that some of these dates are likely to change since they are estimates of shipping containers which are in transit. The uncertainty of transit duration and customs clearance procedures makes exact estimates impossible. However, the point is that the products are made and are on the way! Stay tuned!
Issues with Check-Out / Shipping
One last explanation: you may see products as being available, but you might not be able check-out or see that "shipping is unavailable" to your region. This is because inventory is available in HK, but not yet in Canada. As inventory arrives at Canada, you will be able to complete the process. Also, for EU customers, you may order early from our web store (delivery from Canada), but you can also wait a few weeks and order from JB Spielwaren for fulfillment directly in the EU.
The new Fx 9V products should be available globally now, and if they are not, please check back in a few days until all of our inventory is reconciled.
